Hi, guys. First off, I’ll be appearing at the Lit & Phil, Westgate Road, Newcastle on Thursday 6th April 4.30pm-7pm for the launch of Mr Stephenson’s Regret by Hexham-author, David Williams. It’s a fascinating read about the lives and relationships of Robert and George Stephenson. David will be reading and signing his books, but I’ll also be on hand to sign one or two of mine if you twist my arm 😉
It’s free and you can just turn up on the day anytime. There will also be some bargains and freebies to be had from Wild Wolf Publishing, so pop along if you’re in the area, even if it’s just to say hi.
Sinema 3 is progressing well and I’m loving the direction it’s heading in. I’m dying to reveal more, but I’ll keep schtum for now.
I’m also doing a little bit more acting – I’m shooting a funeral scene for the Newcastle-set TV drama, Detached tomorrow in the centre of Newcastle and then I’ve got an audition in the evening the same day for another Newcastle-set drama, so wish me luck for that one. I’ve got to read a 2 minute monologue and still debating whether to use Robert Shaw’s iconic USS Indianapolis speech from Jaws or the slightly lesser known, but equally brilliant, Sean Pertwee’s Laughing Devil speech from Dog Soldiers…decisions decisions…
