Rod Glenn

Rod Glenn trained at Delaval Studios in Theatre & Performing Arts.  During his training, he gained experience in local theatre and educational videos.  He then pursued several careers, including novel writing until rediscovering his love of acting later in life.  He has secured roles in feature films, television, commercials, music videos, audio dramas, stage plays, video games, audio books and short films. He has won best supporting actor roles for playing twins in IT BE AN EVIL MOON at the Hollywood Blood Horror Festival and for his role as Dean in ORCUS at The Trojan Film Festival and a best actor award for his role as Silas in LANKIN at Emerald Peacock.

Formal Training

Delaval Studios, Theatre & Performing Arts Diploma.  Experience during this course included local theatre and educational videos.  The course included intensive ‘Method’ acting, stage combat, dance, vocal training and character development.  He has also been trained by legendary stunt and swordsman, Seoras Wallace in unarmed and armed fighting for TV and film.

Specialist skills include stunts, rock climbing, firearms, sword-fighting, boxing, advanced driving and close quarters combat, stunt coordination and armorer.

He is in his 50s, but can play characters aged 40s-50s.  Although based in Northern England, he has a passport and a car, so is happy to travel UK-wide and internationally.

He is flexible and accommodating for both auditions and filming.
