Workshops & Speaking

Rod is available to run creative writing workshops for schools up to and including sixth form level.  He can tailor content on various subjects, depending on requirements and time constraints.  Some subjects include:

  • Characterisation
  • Structure of a Novel
  • Getting Published
  • Research
  • Writing the Perfect Scene

Rod's daily rate is £200 or part thereof.

In addition to workshops, Rod is happy to carry out speaking engagements to writing groups, libraries, bookshops or special events.  As well as signing, discussing and/or reading extracts from his work, he is happy to discuss his experiences with the world of publishing and literary agents.  Having spent fifteen years submerged in sales and marketing, he is an accomplished speaker in seminar settings, small groups or one to one.  Rod does not charge for attending these events.
