Background
Five hundred years ago, at the pinnacle of humanity’s achievements, a devastating war broke out between two powerful nations over the black gold. The land of the Dragon caught the mighty Bear in slumber and swept across the frozen wastes. The Bear, suffering devastating losses and facing defeat, lashed out with atomic weapons. With the vast majority of their invading army obliterated or irradiated, the Dragon did the unthinkable and plunged the world into global thermonuclear war.
This war became known as The Great War and brought about the universal collapse of the twenty-first century civilisations. The skies darkened on one hundred years of chaos.
Out of the ashes, one man rose up to unite the warring tribes ofAmerica. Seth the Uniter became the first King of America and brought about stability and unity throughout theAmericanProvince, at its height, stretching from northernCanada to the tip ofCape Horn. A powerful dynasty was born andAmerica grew strong once more.
The Monarchy ruled with a firm, but fair hand for many generations, but as with all empires, corruption and disquiet began eating away at its core, leading to anger and mistrust and then eventually to violence.
