The Black City Hierarchy
 
The Black City (formerly known as Middlesbrough) is held together by a loose affiliation of gangs and organisations.
 
The Authority
The Authority are the ruling organisation, made up of former local authority and military personnel. 
 
The Industrial Coalition (IC)
The IC are made up of wealthy and powerful individuals who represent the real power behind the Authority.
 
The Clans
Below the constant jostling between the Authority and the IC are dozens of clans who are given certain areas to control or certain functions to perform.
 
The Lions - Football-based doctrine.  Based at the Riverside Stadium.  Primary function is entertainment – bastardised version of no-holes-barred football – and sector security
The Boro Chapter – Hells Angel-based doctrine.  Based at the Guide Dog Training Centre.  Primary functions are transportation and escorting
Black Cats – Football-based doctrine.  Based around Egmont.  Primary functions are muscle for hire and sector security
Park Yardies - Members predominently Jamaican.  Based at Cleveland County Stadium.  Primary functions are food and drug production and sector security
Crusaders – Christian Knight-based doctrine.  Based at St Barnabas Church.  Primary functions are trading and scavenging outside of city and sector security
Marton Road Massive – Members predominently black with Hip Hop and R&B doctrine.  Based around Marton Road.  Primary function is sector security.
St John’s – Based at the General Hospital.  Primary function is health care
The Clan - Members predominently Scottish.  Based around Grange Street.  Primary functions are muscle for hire and sector security
The Magpies - Members predominently Geordies.  Based around Park Lane.  Primary functions are muscle for hire and sector security
HaTikvah - Members predominently Jewish.  Based around Cleveland Shopping Centre.  Primary functions trade and commerce
Deathheads – Heavy metal-based doctrine.  Based in Linthorpe Cemetary.  Primary functions are slavery and sector security.
White Order of Thule – White supremacy-based doctrine.  No fixed location.  Primary function is slavery
Emeralds - Members predominently Irish.  Based around Park Road North.  Primary function is sector security
The Dragons – Members predominently Chinese.  Based at Subway Shops.  Primary functions are trade and sector security
Midnight - Members predominently black.  No fixed location. Primary function is muscle for hire.
Nation of Islam – Members predominently Muslim.  Based around Parliament Road.  Primary function is trade and commerce
Jihad - Members exclusively Muslim extremist.  No fixed location.  Primary function is muscle for hire.
Kali - Members predominently Asian subcontinent.  Based at Gasholder Station.  Primary function is trade and commerce
British Nationals - White supremacy-based doctrine.  Based at Marsh Works.  Primary function is slavery and sector security
